Three-star Michelin restaurant meals for EVA Air business class

Taiwan’s second-largest carrier EVA Air will be giving a treat to its customers traveling on business class flights with some fabulous meals. The airline has now hired the services of the three-star Michelin Restaurant Chef Nakamura Kyoto for creating gourmet inflight meals to be served on Taipei-Osaka route. The meals are being offered effective from March 10, 2015. These meals will also be provided to those traveling in economy class as well.

EVA Air in a statement said that different entrees for business class will be created by Chef Nakamura every month. The main course to be served in March will consist of grilled shiso-pepper flavored salmon fillet served with lotus root and green bamboo shoots. During April, the customers will be served sukiyaki, made with American beef and Kyoto spices. While the main dish to be served in May includes flounder fillet cooked with a blend of soup stock, soy sauce and a light Japanese rice-wine vinegar called mirin.

Chef Nakamura had also created appetizers for business class customers with fresh salmon, okra, carrageenan and octopus, and enhanced the flavors with pomelo and shiso peppers.

Meanwhile, EVA Air said that the travelers from Houston will be able to make one stop in Taipei and conveniently connect onwards to nearly all the key leisure and business destinations in Asia from June 2015. The airline is offering flight services to several destinations in North America, including Seattle, San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, Toronto and Seattle.
