Transaero to launch Moscow-Dubai route in September

Transaero Airlines, the commercial airline of Russia, which operates scheduled and charter flights, announced its plans to commence service on Moscow-Dubai route. The airline has set September 20, 2013 as the launch date for the scheduled service to the thriving Middle Eastern city.

The airline has been offering charter service to Dubai for more than a decade and now intends to expand its horizon into commercial flights. It has carried more than 1 million passengers during these years between these destinations. A leader in the Russian aviation sector, it provides flights between Russia and the UAE. Over these years, it has realized that the passenger flow between the two destinations is good enough to launch regular service.

It received necessary permissions to launch the scheduled service from authorities in July this year. Passengers can now book business class flights to Dubai and fly twelve times a week from Moscow. The airline will provide six flights per week each from Vnukovo International Airport and Domodedovo International Airport. However, the service from Domodedovo would be launched on October 27, 2013.

The carrier will use the services of Boeing 767/737-800 from Vnukovo and Boeing 737-800/747-400 aircrafts from Domodedovo. Seats will be available in three classes including business, economy, and tourist class.

Business class passengers will benefit from the airline’s specialist services, which include priority check-ins, greater seat pitches, seats convertible into beds, delectable cuisine designed exclusively by the chefs of Cafe Pushkin Restaurant in Moscow and an assortment of wines and other beverages. .

Other advantages that business travelers relish are pillows and blankets to relax through the journey, amenity kits, personal audio-video entertainment system, and individual CD player. Passengers can also enjoy the luxury of carrying checked-in luggage of up to 35 kg on all transatlantic flights.
