Turkish Airlines recently announced that it is expanding its flight services to Los Angeles, its newest US gateway.
The airline also said that it is offering a special round trip pricing on direct flights from Los Angeles to Istanbul.
The new round trip flights from Los Angeles to Istanbul have been termed as “Early Bird Special”, and will be offered at only US$599.
Besides, the tickets for round trip flights from Los Angeles to Izmir and Ankara will be offered at only US$699.
However, the tickets for round trip flights from Los Angeles to all the other Turkish destinations will be offered at only US$719. The prices for all the round trip flights are inclusive of all fuel taxes and surcharges.
The Turkish Airlines in a statement said that the promotional “Early Bird Special” price is valid for flights from 1st October 2011 through 18th December 2011, and 1st January 2012 through 28th February 2012. To avail of the promotional round trip flights offer, the tickets should be purchased between 5th July 2011 and 15th July 2011.
The airline said that the promotional round trip airfares will be applicable only on flights TK009 and TK010, and will be valid on flights originating in Los Angeles only.
The Turkish Airlines introduced its flight services from Los Angeles to Istanbul in March 2011. The airline will add a 5th daily flight from Los Angeles to Istanbul on Wednesdays from 31st August 2011. The airline further said that it will operate daily flights from Los Angeles to Istanbul effective March 26, 2012.
The airline has deployed its new Boeing 777-300ER aircraft for its flight services from Los Angeles.

Turkish Airlines is currently offering nonstop direct flight services from major US cities like Washington D.C., New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
At present, the Turkish Airlines has a fleet of 174 aircrafts, and operates flight services to 183 destinations across the world. The destinations include 142 international and 41 domestic destinations.
