While being entirely professional, the newly designed uniform preserves its virtue of hospitality. We are immensely proud to join hands with creative talents who are skilled in incorporating practical and sophisticated designs.’
The national flag carrier actually paired up with Milan-based Haute Couturier Ettore Bilotta in order to design this dynamic cabin crew uniform. A fashion designer by profession, Bilotta was greatly inspired by Istanbul in the first go. He commented in an interview, ‘Istanbul, being a melting pot for age-old civilization and art features a unique richness of varied cultures. With a view to blend elements from traditional elements with the modern Turkish details, I actually paid much attention on modern lines to bring into limelight duality and contrast.’
The airline has paired up with Miles Aldridge, an artist and British shutterbug to shoot the new collection at several distinctive places at Istanbul.
