UK-based LCC EasyJet presented Best Short-Haul Airline Award

EasyJet, UK-based low-cost carrier renowned for offering Cheap Airfares, has recently been presented the ‘Best Short-Haul Airline Award’. The award was presented during the recently-concluded 2014 Business Travel Awards in London. The award was received by Ruth Spratt, Head of Sales UK for easyJet.

While receiving the award, Spratt said that it’s a remarkable achievement for easyJet to be presented with the prestigious ‘Best Short-Haul Airline Award’ at the 2014 Business Travel Awards. He said that it is a proud moment for the airline as the award is presented only after being judged by key travel industry experts.

Spratt said that it is a matter of great satisfaction that easyJet’s proactive involvement with the corporate market has been lauded. He also said that the airline’s extensive route network, flight schedule, impressive punctuality record and a young fleet have received accolades. EasyJet is presently carrying above 60 million passengers every year, of which above 11 million are business travelers alone. The airline said that over the years it has grown remarkably and has now become the preferred choice for business travelers because of low fares, best customer service and punctuality across its Europe network.

EasyJet had last year introduced an inclusive fare for corporate passengers. The corporate travelers are now benefiting from the competitive fares that combine services like seat as well as bag selection.
