United Airlines announces the addition of St. Lucia route

United Airlines, the major American commercial carrier announced the addition of St. Lucia to its route. The announcement was made in an official statement by the airline. A company spokesperson said the carrier was adding round-trip once a week to the island destination.

St. Lucia is an island located in the Caribbean and a popular sun and sand beach destination visited by tourists through the year. It is also one place visited by the U.S. citizens’ primarily living on the east coast of the country.

Passengers can book plane tickets for a non-stop journey to the island paradise. As per the itinerary of the airline, the flight will depart each Saturday from Newark Liberty International Airport, which serves as a hub for the airline. This airport is located 30 miles south of New York and can be easily accessed by New Yorkers.

The carrier will use the services of a Boeing 737-800 aircraft to fly its customers to the scenic locales of the island. The Boeing comprises sixteen business class, forty eight economy plus and ninety economy seats in all.

United Airlines is the world’s largest airline in terms of destination. It is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. The airline operates out of its 10 hubs one of which is based in Narita International Airport, Tokyo, Japan.
