United Airlines introduces non-stop flights to San Francisco

United Airlines brought home a lot of good news to Oklahoma natives with its announcement of direct nonstop flight to San Francisco. Starting August 30(today), OKC airport would host the first ever nonstop direct flight to San Francisco. The new flight has been added to cater to the increasing demand of direct flights to the destination.

Lately the two cities have seen an increase in business connections, which encouraged the airline to introduce these new flights. SkyWest Airlines, a United Express carrier, would operate the flights.

The Jet being used on the route has 66 seats; out of which 6 are in first class, 28 in economy plus and 32 in economy. Being a short haul, there are no business class seats on this plane.

Passengers who boarded the flight were served with San Francisco coffee and Ghirardelli chocolates. The flight schedule as reported was- OKC departure at 7:02 a.m. and San Francisco arrival at 8:38 a.m.
