United Airlines has announced it will be upgrading its services within the United States. The airline will also be launching new flights to destinations in Europe and Israel.
Media reports quoting a spokesperson of United Airlines said that the daily flights between Newark Liberty and Tel Aviv will be upgraded effective from May 5, 2017 with the deploying of a Boeing 777-300ER aircraft to serve the route. The airline will be showcasing the new Polaris seat on the Boeing aircraft.
According to the reports, the outbound flights from Newark Liberty will depart at 23:45 hours and arrives in Tel Aviv at 16:20 hours next day. The return flight will make its departure from Tel Aviv at 23:10 hours and reaches Newark Liberty at 04:35 hours next day. This will be the airline’s second route to be launched in 2017.
United Airlines further indicated that it will be launching a new seasonal service between Munich and San Francisco starting from May 24 this year. The airline will deploy a Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft to serve the new route. Providing details about its new schedule, the airline said that the outbound flight will depart from San Francisco at 14:50 hours and arrives in Munich at 10:25 hours next day. The return flight will take off from Munich at 12:10 hours and lands in San Francisco at 14:55 hours same day. Apart from Munich, the airline has also decided to launch flights between San Francisco and Hong Kong.
Meanwhile, United Airlines has also revealed its plans to boost its domestic network with the launch of new flights services to 13 cities within the United States. The four new destinations where the airline will be offering its services include Santa Rosa, Rochester, Columbia and Champaign/Urbana. In addition to these destinations, a daily summer service will also be added in six markets as well. Moreover, the flights to New Orleans, Tucson, Fort Lauderdale and Salt Lake City, which were not a seasonal summer service, will now become year-round service.
