United Airlines Ready to Make Improvements in its Boarding Process

United Airlines is making changes in its boarding procedures by making improvements to boarding at gates in airports worldwide. The enhancements in the process facilitate the travelers with ample of space at the gate. The boarding information is improved and at the same time the waiting time in the queue is lessened, thereby diminishing the stressful environment.

The most remarkable upgradation is that the boarding lanes are reduced from five to two. Furthermore, users of the United app would now be getting a new alert informing passengers about the boarding time. The airline stated that in the near future, such notifications would be sent in the form of text messages. The flyers can also keep themselves updated about the boarding details with the digital displays near the gate.

In addition, United Airline would also invite the 1 k flyers of United’s MileagePlus Premier who boarded in group one to pre-board. Moreover, the travelers of United’s MileagePlus Premier Gold would also receive an opportunity to move from group two to one during the boarding procedure. It has also been stated that the qualified United credit card holders will continuously get priority boarding facility in group two.
