United Airlines Says Hello Nassau

United Airlines in an announcement said that it will soon start flying between Washington DC and Nassau. United will start this non-stop flight service to Bahamas from the beginning of June this year.

Proving more details about this new service, the airline said that this will be a seasonal service and will operate out of Washington-Dulles International Airport, its hub airport from June 7 to August 17, 2014. This United Express Flight will be operated by SkyWest using Bombardier CRJ-700 regional jets. A total of 70 plane tickets in three different seat classifications will be up for sale. There will be 48 seats in Economy, 16 ion Economy Plus and 6 in Business Class.

This seasonal service is aptly timed so that passengers can travel further from Washington DC to nearly 32 cities, where United operates. The airline is also resuming its seasonal service between Houston and Aruba. Functional from June 7 to August 16, this service will be operated by 154-seat Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

With Nassau added to its list of destinations, United will be flying to a total of eight Caribbean destinations. American Airlines also flies to Nassau from Regan National Airport.
