United, other carriers vying to offer upgraded premium cabin menu

Whether you are traveling in first class or business class flights, be ready to now look forward to a more privileged treatment when it comes to in-flight meals. There are a number of international airlines that are presently competing to upgrade their premium cabin menus further. Leading U.S. carriers like United Airlines, American Airlines and Delta Air Lines are into a game of one-upmanship to provide the best cuisines to their respective premium customers.

United Airlines has taken the lead. Media reports presented an account of the premium customers who benefitted from this privilege recently. A passenger was reported telling that it had been an awesome experience when taking United Airlines flights to Milan from Newark in November this year. The passenger was elated on seeing the airline serving osso buco-style chicken breast. This was among the four entrees that were served to passengers traveling on premium cabins during an overnight flight this November.  The airline has hired renowned chefs to prepare and offer freshly prepared delicious dishes to the customers.

American Airlines is not to be left behind in the race. The airline gave an incredible treat to its first class passengers on flights to Europe from U.S. American Airlines offered a choice of ginger coconut sauce or San Marzaqno tomato to drizzle on their leek and brie ravioli. Last year, another U.S. carrier Delta Air Lines also hired famous chefs to create exclusive menus for its business class passengers traveling in BusinessElite class. The chefs were hired to prepare menus for a particular region that was served on flights to Mexico City and Latin America.
