United to offer Summertime Trans-Atlantic Flights to DUB and VCE

United Airlines announced Monday that it will offer summertime flights to two trans-Atlantic routes, Dublin and Venice.

The summer season flights will start operating between Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) and Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE) from June 4, 2015. The carrier will deploy Boeing 767-300ER aircraft with 242 seats. The daily flight is scheduled to run through September 23, 2015. Flight 170 will depart EWR daily at 6.45 pm and arrive in Venice at 9.05 am the following day (local time). The return flight 169 will depart VCE daily at 10.55 am and arrive in EWR at 2.25 pm the same day.

The same day, the airline will also launch summer season flights between O'Hare International Airport (ORD) in Chicago and Dublin International Airport (DUB). The carrier will deploy Boeing 757-200 on this route with 169 seats. This daily round-trip flight will run through August 17.

Flight 152 will leave from ORD daily at 6.05 pm and arrive in DUB at 7.35 am the following day (local time). The return flight 153 will take off from DUB at 9.50 am daily, arriving in ORD at 12.15 pm the same day. The airline also offers nonstop flights to Dublin from Newark and Washington Dulles.

The carrier will also offer second daily flight between Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) and Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) in Paris for the summer. This flight – will use Boeing 757-200 starting from June 4 through August 17, 2015.

All the aircrafts on this route will offer more seats in both United Economy and Economy Plus Seats. Boeing 767-400ER on Newark-Venice will have 242 seats consisting of 39 United BusinessFirst flat-bed seats, 203 United Economy seats including 70 Economy Plus with increased personal space and extra legroom. Boeing 757-200 aircraft on Chicago-Dublin and Washington Dulles- Paris will have 169 seats i.e. 16 United BusinessFirst flat-bed seats, 153 in United Economy, including 45 Economy Plus seats.
