US Airways announces 19 additional flights to Glasgow

One of the biggest commercial airlines of the United States, US Airways, has announced the launch of additional flights to Glasgow, ahead of the Commonwealth Games. The airline will add 19 additional flights to its itinerary on the given route. These flights will also add up to 6,700 more seats on the same sector. The Commonwealth Games also coincide with the 10th anniversary celebrations of the airline flying between this city pair. Airline tickets on 15 of the total 19 flights will be available from May 4, 2014. The remaining flights will commence ahead of the season change in October.
