US Airways Introduces Dinefresh Premium Meal Option in Economy Class on Select International Flights

Passengers booking air tickets on US Airways will now be able to savor premium meals while traveling in Economy Class after paying an amount.

The airline in a statement said that passengers traveling in Economy Class on US Airways flights on select international routes will now be offered a premium meal option at a cost.

US Airways’ move to introduce the premium meal option called DineFresh is aimed at enhancing the in-flight experience of its customers when taking flights on international routes, including the Middle East, Europe and South America.

The new DineFresh premium meal option allows the customers to select from either a protein meal comprising of citrus-marinated chicken skewers, seasonal grilled vegetables, classic shrimp cocktail and crème brulee cheesecake for dessert or a vegetarian meal comprising of a Caprese salad with balsamic dressing, Portobello mushroom tortellini, Mediterranean-style appetizer and turtle cheesecake for dessert.

The airline has priced the premium entrée at $19.99, and should be purchased at least 24 hours prior to the flight.
