Virgin America announces new interline pact with Japan Airlines

California-based Virgin America recently announced it has entered into a new interline agreement with Japan Airlines to further expand its global partnerships.

The agreement will allow Virgin America to offer air tickets and flights on Asian routes as well.

The airline in a statement said that the new interline agreement with Japan Airlines is aimed at offering seamless travel on the networks of both carriers across their respective North American and Asian routes.
Ever since it was launched in 2007, Virgin America with a fleet of 52 new aircrafts now currently serves 18 destinations.
 
Apart from its new agreement with Japan Airlines, the airline also has interline agreements with El Al, South African Airways, Qantas Airways, Virgin Atlantic Airways, Virgin Australia, Emirates, Korean Air, Air New Zealand, Cathay Pacific Airways, Singapore Airlines,  China Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, Ethiopian Airlines and Air Pacific.

Currently, Virgin America operates flights to San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Washington DC, Seattle, Las Vegas, San Diego, Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Cabos, Cancun and other destinations.
