Virgin America begins new nonstop Los Angeles-Philadelphia flight

Virgin America recently launched its nonstop flight between Los Angeles and Philadelphia. The flight between Los Angeles International Airport and Philadelphia International Airport started on April 10, 2012.

Virgin America is the first US carrier to launch new service at Philadelphia in eight years. The launch of flights has injected competition into West Coast to Philadelphia routes.

To mark the launch of its newest route, Virgin America has introduced a “Liberating” network-wide fare sale offering air tickets starting from $159* between Philadelphia and Los Angeles. Apart from this, the airline is also offering tickets between Philadelphia and San Francisco starting from $179*.

Virgin America in a statement said that it will operate three daily nonstop flights between Philadelphia and Los Angeles.

The airline will also operate two daily nonstop flights between Philadelphia and San Francisco.

The airline further stated that connecting flights will also be available to Portland, San Diego, Seattle and Las Vegas markets from Philadelphia.

Virgin America currently operates flights to San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, Washington D.C., Seattle, Las Vegas, San Diego, Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Dallas-Fort Worth, Los Cabos, Cancun, Chicago, Puerto Vallarta and Palm Springs.
