Virgin America, other Virgin airlines fully integrate their frequent flyer programs

Passengers booking Virgin America air tickets as well as those on other Virgin airlines, including Virgin Atlantic Airways and Virgin Australia, will now be able to earn and redeem frequent flyer credit on any Virgin airline anywhere in the world.

Virgin Group recently announced that all its airlines – Virgin America, Virgin Atlantic Airways and Virgin Australia – are fully linking their frequent flyer programs in order to offer global benefits to all Virgin flyers.

For the first time, all the three airlines of Virgin Group have decided to enter into a global partnership allowing each airline’s loyalty program members to redeem miles or points when taking flights on any of the sister-branded airlines across their respective route networks.   

Those earning points on any Virgin airline will also be able to effectively use them to fly to any of the Virgin destinations across the world under this new initiative.

Virgin Group in a statement said that the new benefit builds on the airlines’ 2010 move to enable miles and points earning across the Virgin airline family.
