Virgin America signs interline agreement with Korean Air

Virgin America recently announced that it has signed an interline agreement with Korean Air, which will now allow both the carriers to offer convenient connections on each other’s networks across North American, Asian and South American routes.

With this new interline agreement, Korean Air has now become the ninth interline partner of Virgin America.

The interline agreement has become effective now, and allows connecting passengers to buy interline air tickets for travel between the US, Japan, Brazil, South Korea, and beyond. Under the agreement, both the airlines will also transfer baggage between connecting flights to passengers’ final destination.

Korean Air passengers traveling from Seoul Incheon International Airport will now be able to avail flight deals and seamless connections at Los Angeles International Airport, San Francisco International Airport, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Las Vegas McCarran International Airport to several other Virgin America destinations.

Currently, Korean Air offers nonstop flights from Los Angeles International Airport to Tokyo Narita International Airport and São Paulo Guarulhos International Airport.
