Virgin Atlantic Airways to provide stylish new amenity kits on Premium Economy flights

Virgin Atlantic Airways recently revealed its stylish new amenity kits to be provided to customers booking premium economy tickets. The sustainable kits made of 100 percent recycled material would also be offered to customers traveling in the airline’s Upper Class cabins.

The new stylish, sustainable amenity kits for customers booking Upper Class and Premium Economy flights have been unveiled after six months of research and design.

Virgin Atlantic Airways in a statement said that the amenity kits have been designed keeping sustainability in mind. According to the airline, the amenity kits have been produced from recycled PET (rPET) material.

The airline stated that nearly 4 million bottles per year would be able to be recycled for use in its kit using the rPET technology. The airline said that the fabric produced using the rPET technology uses recycled instead of new materials and has a 90 percent lower carbon footprint than nylon. The amenity kit provided in Premium Economy cabins doubles up as a handy travel wallet.
