Virgin Atlantic Airways unveils swanky new Upper Class cabin

Passengers taking business class flights on Virgin Atlantic Airways got a thrilling experience during their travel between London and New York. Virgin Atlantic Airways recently unveiled its new pink Upper Class Cabin for business travelers. The passengers had a great flying experience on inaugural business class flights from London to New York. The new-look cabin took four-and-a-half years to be designed at an estimated cost of $156 million.

The airline provided details about the newly-designed Upper Class Cabin. The airline said that the curtains on board are studded with over 1000 Swarovski crystals.

The new Upper Class Cabin for business fliers features the longest bar in the skies, stretching 2.5 meters and accommodating 8 people. The futuristic bar is located separately from the cabin and provides sufficient spaces for fellow passengers to sit and socialize.

According to Virgin Atlantic Airways, the 221 cm long "seat-beds" are the longest business class beds and reclines 50 per cent more than the previous version.

The airline will add the Upper Class Suites to its Boeing 787s starting in 2014.
