Virgin Atlantic and Delta Air Lines to jointly open NY-LON Lounge

Virgin Atlantic Airways and Delta Air Lines, which are currently into transatlantic partnership, have announced they will be jointly opening a lounge bar at London’s O2 venue during this summer. The NY-LON Lounge to be opened next month has been designed to accommodate up to 400 guests and will be aviation-themed.

Media reports said that the NY-LON Lounge will have a seating area and a bar. There will be a “secret space” as well for conducting personal meetings, dining or holding other small events. The reports said that the management of the lounge will be done through Levy Restaurants UK, which has been especially hired for the purpose. The guests will be able to gain access to the lounge on all seven days of the week. The lounge is scheduled to be inaugurated in late July 2015.

According to the reports, the members traveling in First Class and Business Class and holding Virgin Atlantic Airways’ Flying Club and Delta Air Lines’ Skymiles loyalty programs will be able to gain access to the lounge. They can also look forward to a wide range of special offers and discounts.
