Virgin Atlantic launches its new A330 over Manchester-Orlando route

The British flagship carrier, Virgin Atlantic recently launched its new Airbus A330 “Beauty Queen” aircraft, which made its inaugural trip over Manchester-Orlando route.

This new A330 is the first of the ten aircrafts that the airline will receive in the coming two years. The airline’s new carriers will operate over its US, East and West Africa, Middle East and India routes.

According to the airline, out of the ten new A330 aircrafts, two aircrafts will be reserved for the leisure trips and will be fitted with 59 premium economy seats and 225 coach class seats. The remaining eight will offer all the three the upper, premium economy and coach class seats.

Julie Southern, Virgin Atlantic chief commercial officer, said. “Not only does the A330 deliver savings in emissions and fuel consumption, it offers our customers a cutting edge product which will transform their flying experience.”

The passengers will be able to enjoy the touch screen technology to scroll and wipe through up to 300 hours of content.
