Virgin Atlantic to recruit more than 450 people

With the an aim of expanding its fleet, Virgin Atlantic recently announced that it will be creating around 450 new job opportunities to supplement its fleet expansion requirements.

The new job positions will recruit 350 posts for cabin crew, 50 posts for the pilot and 50 airport officials and head officers.

After the launch of new Manchester- Las Vegas route, and the extension of flight service from London to Caribbean and Ghana, the airline will start the recruitment process and fill up the new vacancies.

Corneel Koster, director of operations of Virgin Atlantic, said, "We have enjoyed a good year of recovery and can now look forward to expanding our network and welcoming a new fleet of aircraft. With the increases in flight rotations from our London airports and the new Las Vegas flight from Manchester, we will be creating jobs in both of these areas."

The new Manchester and Las Vegas route will open around 100 new positions.
