Virgin Atlantic to stop flying to Kingston next year

Virgin Atlantic recently announced that the flights to the Jamaican capital Kingston will be stopped from next year.

The airline has cited that the route remains unsustainable.

’s last London-Kingston flight will be on April 16, 2012. The airline will, however, continue its London to Montego Bay service.

The airline in a statement said that it had to take the decision in view of the rising cost of fuel and Air Jamaica’s planned re-launch of a London to Kingston service.
