Travel across the Pacific is set to be revolutionized. This will become possible through the newly launched International Business Class cabin by Virgin Australia on its Boeing 777 aircraft. Apart from the flagship business class cabin, the aircraft will also be prominently featuring a Business Class Bar & Lounge as well. The airline also unveiled a revamped Premium Economy cabin also, which has been designed by tangerine.
Matt Round, tangerine Creative Director, said, “The concept behind the newly designed business class cabin was to keep everything in sync so that the customers may find it convenient and everything on their finger-tips. The whole project has seen the potent mix of pragmatic vision as well as creative vision.”
The tangerine team took the responsibility of redesigning the premium cabins of Virgin Australia’s newly-introduced Boeing 777 and Airbus A330 aircrafts. Round further remarked, “The primary goal and challenge was to harmoniously infuse the spaces with utmost elegance and sophistication, which would go a long way in helping Virgin Australia to transform into a quality carrier and known for providing outstanding service to its customers.”
The lie-flat seats in business class have been designed by BE Aerospace. The new seats will now replace the recliners and have been customized in order that the premium customers get a feel of international style and exclusivity. The interiors have been refurbished with every minute details taken into account such as textures of curtains, combination of fabric and leather on the seat, louvered privacy screens, carpets, wardrobes, storage spaces and bulkhead. The baby bassinets have also been remodeled too. The exclusive bar and lounge area in the business class cabin of Boeing 777 aircraft has been exquisitely designed providing opportunities to premium customers to sip their drinks and relax while being away from their seats.
The customers in the newly designed Premium Economy cabin are also offered access to self-service snack area, where more freedom and choice is available to them similar to those traveling in business class cabins. The new leathers and seating fabrics promises to offer a quality experience.
