Virgin Australia’s business class demand on new A330 aircraft sensational

Gary Manuel, Virgin Australia’s Sales Development Manager - Industry, said that the demand for the airline’s new business class on its recently-introduced daily flights between Sydney and Melbourne to Perth on Airbus A330 aircraft has been nothing short of sensational.

He said that Virgin Australia’s business class product suits well for corporate travelers seeking trans-continental flights.

“The passengers are offered even more space, comfort and luxury including a seat pitch of 157.48 cm (62 inches). The passengers are also offered several benefits, such as complimentary lounge access at Perth, Sydney and Melbourne, and priority check-in,” said Manuel.

Passengers booking business class seats on Virgin Australia flights are offered exclusive Luke Mangan-designed menu and meals prepared on board. They can also enjoy personal entertainment facilities, including a 25.4 cm (10 inch) screen onboard their business class flights.

Manuel said that the new business class service is part of a marketing strategy by Virgin Australia in order to meet strong demand from the corporate sector for better service on Australian east-west flights.
