Volaris to add flights from Guadalajara to Ontario

Volaris has recently announced to add a third flight from Guadalajara International Airport in Mexico to Ontario International Airport in Los Angeles from September 1, 2014. The airline already operates twice weekly flights on this route i.e. every Thursdays and Sundays.

The third flight operating every Mondays will depart from Guadalajara at 9:55 p.m. and arrive in Ontario at 11 p.m. The return flight will leave at 12:40 a.m. and arrive at Guadalajara at 5:35 a.m. the next day.

Enrique Beltranena, Chief Executive Officer of Volaris, said added flight will provide more options to passengers. This is the largest market in the world and the airline is dedicated to fulfill their connectivity requirement at low fares that will vie with ground transportation fares, while furthering commercial, cultural and financial exchange with the US.

Jess Romo, Airport Manager at Los Angeles World Airports, said that he is glad to know about the extra flight. There are approximately one million people who stay in Los Angeles region having roots in Guadalajara. Additional flight will benefit them by increasing their connectivity options.

Volaris is a low cost airline of Mexico that started operating from 2005. The airline is headquartered at Mexico City, Mexico. It is the second largest airline of Mexico just next in position to Aeromexico. The airline operates a total of 47 flights to Mexico and North America from different national airports.
