Volaris to launch Guadalajara-Ontario service in April 2014

Volaris, the low cost carrier of Mexico announced the decision to launch flights to Ontario in California. The airline intends to commence service from Guadalajara to Ontario. The city will become the airline 13th overall destination in the United States and 7th in California.

Airline tickets on these newly announced routes would be available from April 12, 2014. The airline launched service in 2005 and at present offers flights to about 40 destinations. Apart from Ontario, it flies to several other cities in the State of California including Los Angeles, Oakland, San Jose, San Diego, Fresno, and Sacramento.

As per the schedule, flights will depart Guadalajara every Wednesday and Saturday at 10:40 pm and arrive in Ontario at 00:05 am. Return flights will depart Ontario every Thursday and Sunday at 1:20 am and arrive in Guadalajara at 6:45 am. The airline offers tickets to its passengers at affordable prices. Passengers flying on this route with the airline would be able to carry 25kg of checked-in luggage.

These flights are expected to boost trade, commerce, and other exchanges between the two countries.
