Washington awaits opening of W Bellevue in 2017

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide Inc. has recently announced that its iconic W brand is set for debut in Bellevue, Washington. The new W Bellevue, which is scheduled to open in spring 2017, will be a part of global hotel chain’s $1.2 billion expansion of The Bellevue Collection.

The contemporary design hotel will be located near the beautiful shores of Lake Washington prominently showcasing Bellevue’s history as a fascinating lakeside vacation destination. W Bellevue will be the W brand’s second hotel after W Seattle in the Puget Sound area.

Media reports said that W Bellevue will be situated on Bellevue Way between NE 4th and NE 8th Streets, adjacent to The Westin Bellevue Hotel and will be connected through a sky bridge to the new expansion slated for Bellevue Square.

The Bellevue Collection of which W Bellevue will be a part also includes Bellevue Place, Bellevue Square and Lincoln Square. Apart from W Bellevue, the Lincoln Square spanning a 1.5 million square feet area will also be featuring rental residences, 231 luxury high-rise, 180,000 square feet of entertainment, dining and retail space, and 710,000 square feet of premium office space.

According to the reports, W Bellevue will be offering 245 modern guestrooms, including an Extreme Wow Suite (W bran’s reinterpretation of the traditional Presidential Suite) and 25 suites. The hotel spaces will include ultra-modern meeting and event space in an area of 11,400 square feet, three unique restaurants and bars, and FIT state-of-the-art workout facility. This also includes two destination bars and an all-day dining restaurant located on the ground and second floors.
