WestJet Airlines offers cheap tickets on inaugural Yukon Flights

WestJet Airlines announced that it will start operating daily flights between Vancouver and Whitehorse from this spring. Further to this the airlines has also decided to offer cheap tickets on this sector.

From May 17, 2012, the day when this sector will becomes functional; the airlines will offers some of its seats for as low as $99. Passengers can avail these cheap flights until August 29, 2012. In order to give direct competition to the existing players i.e. Air Canada and Air North in the markets the airlines decided to offer these low fares even at a loss.

Robert Palmer WestJet spokesperson said that WestJet Airlines has high hopes with the launch of its new sector and believes that they will be highly successful here. He further said that the airlines will offer such impeccable services and facilities to travelers that they will they will in future always prefer flying with WestJet over other airlines.
