WestJet Airways introducing premium economy seats next year

The idea of introducing premium economy seats with most airlines is fast catching up. Recent media reports said that more and more airlines are sometimes finding it hard to fill up their usually expensive first class and business class seats. The situation has become difficult because of economic turmoil. The media reports also said that even travelers have become smart and want to save extra dollars and having a comfortable, luxurious journey as well.

According to reports, some of the airlines are entirely doing away with the first class cabins in their fleet. The airlines are instead now accommodating a new premium economy class.

The reports said that WestJet Airways has become the latest airline to join the bandwagon. The airline has announced that it will be offering its customers premium economy tickets from next year. WestJet Airways said that the customers booking premium economy flights would also be able to avail priority boarding facility. Apart from this, the airline would be offering enough legroom space and better amenities in its premium economy cabins.
