WestJet offers exciting low fares to several U.S. gateways

WestJet Airlines, the Canadian carrier is offering exciting one-way low fares between destinations in Canada to several U.S. gateways. Travelers can book these fares by the midnight of October 3, 2013 MT. Passengers booking tickets under this deal can travel only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays through October 27, 2013.

Customers can book cheap flights to travel from cities in Canada to various destinations in the United States including Chicago, Dallas Fort Worth, New York, and San Francisco. The airline requires its customers to make an advance purchase. All these fares are nonrefundable.

The airline is serious about expansion and in a bid to widen its reach, has placed an order with the American airplane manufacturer Boeing for 65 new aircrafts. The Calgary-based airline recently inked a multi-billion deal to buy 737-MAX series airplanes. The airline expects to be the first North American carrier to operate the 737 series planes in 2017. It believes that the next-gen aircraft will help increase fuel efficiency, and its improved cabin facilities will lower operating costs.
