WestJet to operate nonstop service on three new routes

WestJet Airline will add nonstop daytime service to three new destinations. The airline will operate the newly acquired Boeing 757-200 between Calgary and Honolulu, Calgary and Maui, and Edmonton and Maui. It is waiting for regulatory approvals and if all goes well, service on these new routes will commence on December 13, 2013 through April 26, 2014. This launch will give access to Albertans to enjoy a nonstop journey to the Hawaiian Islands.

Bob Cummings, WestJe’s Executive Vice-President, Sales, Marketing, and Guest Experience said the airline’s nonstop service to some of the popular Hawaiian destinations has been fruitful. He further added that Boeing 757-200 would let the Albertans taste an award winning experience on their journey.

These routes will boost the carrier’s frequency across various cities in Canada and neighboring countries at highly competitive fares.

Cummings expressed his happiness about offering service to the holiday destination of Maui and said the airline is eagerly waiting to share its love for Hawaii with the passengers.

With this launch passengers will have a chance to book cheap airfares with the airline and escape into the natural bounties of the Hawaii.
