XL Airways France and Air Europa Return to Miami

Two international airlines XL Airways France and Spain based Air Europa will soon return back to Miami International Airport. XL Airways France will resume its seasonal summer while Air Europa will offer year long service to Miami. Both the carriers will offer three flights a week to Miami.

Low-cost carrier XL Airways France following its successful season last year has again decided to fly from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport to Miami from May 25. Airbus A330-300s will operate on this route and will offer single-class configuration with 408 seats. The airline will operate this seasonal summer service until august 29, 2014. This transatlantic flight will also serve as a cargo service between these two world’s 10 busiest airports.

Air Europa will fly from Madrid to Miami from June 4. However, until august 17, Air Europa flights will reach Miami and then do a round trip flight to Punta Cana and then depart from Miami to Madrid. Post it the airline will start offering direct flights between the two cities. Airbus A330-200 aircraft will operate this route and a total of 299 airline tickets will be offered to passengers on this route. There will be a two-seat classification with 275 seats in Economy Class and 24 seats in Business Class.

Emilio T. Gonzalez, Miami-Dade Aviation Director said that they are extremely happy that XL Airways and Air Europa have decided to connect Miami with two leading European cities. This addition ascertains the potential that Miami International Airport has towards becoming a global gateway.
