Zurich is served by its Kloten Airport, which is a hub for the Swiss national carrier, Swiss International Airlines. This airline which has been through various trials and tribulations over the years, recently inaugurated a non-stop daily service between Zurich and Beijing on February 12th 2012. This new connection which seeks to address the growing passenger traffic between Switzerland and China uses Airbus A340-300 aircraft but will switch to A330-300 aircraft from March 25th.
