Most shops in the city are usually open from 09.00-20.00 on weekdays. The shops however close earlier on Saturday, and are completely closed on Sunday. The shops in the vicinity of the main station are generally open between 08.00 and 21.00 daily. However, in smaller towns around the city, the shops usually close at around 18.30 on weekdays, while on Saturday they close at around 16.00.

The Einkaufszentrum Glatt shopping mall is generally open between 09.00 and 20.00 on weekdays, while it is closed on Sunday.
