Virgin Australia partnership with Singapore Airlines and SilkAir to add 20 new cities on its network

Passengers booking Virgin Australia flights tickets can now look forward to more options when traveling to Europe and India.

The airline in a statement said that with its partnership with Singapore Airlines and its subsidiary SilkAir, nearly 20 more cities would be added to Virgin Australia flights network.

Virgin Australia is continuing to expand its ‘virtual network’ model as advocated by its chief John Borghetti and considers Europe and India to be quite important markets.

The airline stated that Virgin Australia flights to Europe and India are part of the rolling out of its codeshare expansion under its partnership with Singapore Airlines and its subsidiary SilkAir.

The airline said that it will be adding new routes to its network, including Zurich, Paris, Manchester, Munich, London, Jakarta, Delhi, Copenhagen, Bangalore and Amsterdam. The airline further stated that its flights services to European cities are, however, restricted to its customers booking air tickets from Darwin and Perth.
