Virgin Atlantic Airways increasing frequency on London Gatwick-Cancun route from April

Virgin Atlantic Airways recently announced it will be increasing its flight frequency on London Gatwick-Cancun route from April next year.

The airline in a statement said that Virgin Atlantic Airways flights frequency between London Gatwick and Cancun will be increased to three flights every week from the existing two weekly flights.
 
The frequency on London Gatwick-Cancun route will be increased from April 4, 2013. The flights to the Mexican city of Cancun were launched this summer.

Edmond Rose, Virgin Atlantic Airways’ Director of Commercial and Revenue Planning, said that this had been one of the most successful routes ever, with load factors over 85 percent. In the first year, over 75,000 passengers are expected to book Virgin Atlantic Airways flights tickets on the route.

Virgin Atlantic Airways utilizes a Boeing 747 aircraft to operate flights between London Gatwick and Cancun. The airline operates its flights out of London Gatwick’s South Terminal.
