Virgin Atlantic Airways resuming flights between London and Mumbai at October end

Virgin Atlantic Airways recently announced it has made all the preparations for resuming its flights services between Mumbai and London at the end of October this year.

The airline in a statement said that Virgin Atlantic Airways flights services are being resumed on London-Mumbai route after a three year interval.

The customers are already being offered Virgin Atlantic Airways flights tickets for the flights scheduled to be launched from October 28, 2012.
The airline has taken the decision to resume its service between Mumbai and London only after six months when the ailing private Indian carrier announced the suspension of its flights operations on London-Delhi and London-Mumbai routes.

Virgin Atlantic Airways stated that the daily flights between London and Mumbai being resumed by the airline will enable the customers to conveniently connect from India at London Heathrow to the airline’s transatlantic network to various destinations like Washington, Boston and New York. The airline will be deploying a new Airbus A330-300 aircraft to operate flights on Mumbai-London route.
