Vueling Airlines to add 62 new aircrafts to its fleet

Vueling Airlines is looking forward to expand its operations in the next few years. In line with its plans, it recently placed orders for 30 Airbus A320ceo and 32 A320neo aircrafts. It aims as widening its reach on short haul routes and replace some of the existing Airbus A320.

Though the airline is new in business, it is in the mood to strengthen its fleet and service. The order for 62 planes is a justification of its strong motive. It expects to start receiving the deliveries of these planes between 2015 and 2020.

With its offerings, passengers have been able to travel on Vueling Airlines flights to their destinations worldwide. The airline believes it has successfully managed to expand its business over the last few years. It has been targeting regions and routes where its weaker rivals are reducing their frequency. It is hopeful of achieving success with the receipt of modern and more fuel-efficient aircrafts.

The airline is headquartered at Barcelona and operates out of its hub at Barcelona–El Prat Airport. Currently the airline flies to over 100 destinations across Africa, Asia, and Europe. It is serving as the second largest airline of Spain. It has been doing well since its launch in 2004. In the year 2012, it transported 14.8 million passengers at an increase of 20.1 percent from the previous year.
