Air Tahiti Nui a South Pacific airline will be redesigning its business class cabins across all its Airbus A340-300 aircrafts. In an announcement made recently the airline will be upgrading its in-flight facilities, seats and in-flight entertainment system for its Elite passengers.
The airline plans to offer access to on-demand television channels and movies for the entertainment purposes. Along with this the airline is planning to launch a special channel for Kids known as “Tiare TV”.
All the changes are planned to be phased from April 1. Under this Air Tahiti Nui’s Poerava Business Class seats will be increased from 24 to 32. These seats will feature angled lie-flat cocoon style seats having 60-inch pitch and a two-by-two seat configuration. The entire business class section will reflect the beauty and charm of Tahiti.
CEO and Chairman Air Tahiti Nui, Etienne Howan said the upgraded business class flights will come into being from mid-April and would initially fly between its most popular Los Angeles-Paris route. He said the main purpose behind the up gradation was to offer our premium passengers with utmost comfort and hospitality and to make their entire flying experience a memorable affair for them.
