Germany’s national flag carrier Lufthansa recently announced it will be cutting back flights to/from Berlin thus bringing inconvenience to passengers booking air tickets for traveling to other destinations.
The airline said that it is being forced to curtail the number of flights to/from Berlin due to constant problems being faced ever since the new airport in the German capital came into being.
A spokesman of Lufthansa revealed that the airline will be stopping flights services to several European cities from Berlin. The flights to stop operating at the destinations include Budapest (Hungary), Lyon (France) and Manchester (Britain).
The airline will also be reducing the number of flights to halve on Stockholm, Milan and Geneva routes. The airline will also be curtailing services to domestic destinations in Germany, including Dusseldorf, Cologne and Stuttgart.
