Turkey’s national carrier Turkish Airlines has been presented with “Best Business Class Catering” award during the recently concluded 2013 Skytrax World Airline Awards at the Paris Air Show. The airline was given the award for adding ‘Flying Chef’ service for its customers traveling on long-haul business class flights.

Apart from this award, Turkish Airlines has also been awarded for being the “Best Airline in Europe” and “Best Airline in Southern Europe”.

Turkish Airlines has won awards several times by Skytrax. In 2007, Turkish Airlines was first ranked as a four star airline by Skytrax. The airline managed to hold on to its 4-star airline title in 2008, when it became a member of Star Alliance. The airline was also named “Best Airline in Southern Europe” in the same year.

Turkish Airlines continued to maintain its momentum in 2010 and continued to keep the coveted “Best Airline in Southern Europe” award. The airline also won “Best Catering in Economy Class” in 2010.
