British Airways, the premier airline of Europe intends to experiment yet another time. Just recently, the airline tested digital tags and earned appreciation for its innovative thinking. It now intends to test Wi-Fi onboard its Boeing 747 series aircrafts.

The flagship airline of the United Kingdom currently flies to over 160 destinations worldwide. It also has inked codeshare agreements with several another carriers that will increase its presence around the world. With a huge customer base, the airline is forever in the lookout to try something that benefits its customers a great deal. Long haul travels can really get the better of travelers and more so in conditions when boredom strikes! Internet is a powerful medicine to kill boredom and many travelers appreciate the fact of staying connected with their loved ones even when they are flying miles high in the sky.

The airline management and customers are thrilled at the idea of making Wi-Fi available on its flights. Therefore, the airline is set to run a connectivity trial on its B747 planes next year. The airline will use the services of Panasonic Global Communication Suite for the same. The B747-400 planes operate on various routes giving the airline a scope to test its credentials at different locations throughout the world. Travelers who prefer to fly with the airline should expect more comfort and benefits in the times to come.
